ABOUT Taxi:

Meet Riding the Silver Lining, affectionately known as “Taxi”—a striking 2½-year-old silver dapple dun gelding who is 75% Gypsy Vanner and 25% Mustang.

Taxi is registered with the Gypsy Horse Association and has DNA-verified parentage. He is sired by SD Diamonds Out of Dust and is PSSM1 negative by parentage.

Standing just under 14.2 hands and still growing, Taxi has excellent bone, a strong hip, a balanced athletic build and a beautiful, floaty stride. His rare coloring, dark dorsal stripe, four white socks, bold blaze and abundant mane, tail and forelock make him impossible to overlook.

Taxi has all age-appropriate training and a solid foundation. He leads, ties, stands to be groomed and does well with a patient farrier. He has worn a saddle twice and accepted it calmly but has not yet been started under saddle.

What truly sets Taxi apart is his mind. He is friendly, curious, willing and level-headed, preferring to investigate new things rather than react fearfully. He loves attention, enjoys being groomed and pampered and is usually the first one waiting at the gate.

Raised in a busy farm environment, Taxi is accustomed to tractors, side-by-sides, ATVs, large equipment, dump trucks, dogs, cats, other horses and active children. He has the temperament, movement and versatility to develop into a wonderful trail, driving, ranch, obstacle or all-around riding partner.

Serious inquiries welcome.
